Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the process take?
Commissioning original art can go as quickly as one week. All printing, with the exception of the sketch books, is done in-house and an inventory of gift item components are generally on-hand or quickly sourced. Creating the gift items once the art is created or chosen from the portfolio, generally takes no more than two to three weeks. Of course, the more time we have to work with the better.
How much does it cost?
The pricing, of course, depends on the whether art is commissioned or chosen from the artist's existing portfolio, which gift item is selected or which new one is created, the mode of customizing (if any), and the quantity of items ordered. Customers frequently have specific budgets in which to operate. If you have a budget, Steve can offer suggestions that will work in your range. Likewise, if you have a specific item and quantity in mind, Steve will be happy to quote your project. Please contact Steve for more information regarding your specific interests.
How is payment structured and what means of payment are accepted?
Due to the custom nature of each project, a 50% deposit is required to begin a project. The balance is due upon delivery. Business checks, major credit cards, and PayPal transfers are accepted.
What about sales tax?
If the merchandise is being shipped anywhere outside of Arizona there is no sales tax. Additionally, meeting planners and destination management companies with valid resale licenses that are reselling items to customers are not charged sales tax, inside or outside of Arizona. If neither of the above conditions apply, a 6.35% sales tax will be charged.
How is shipping paid for?
Shipping is handled one of two ways. You can have Creative Corporate Gift invoice you for the shipping or you can provide a shipping account of your own.
How is the art printed and what is the quality?
All art (excluding sketch books) is printed in-house using a Canon Pro-4000 professional wide format giclée printer using archival ink. Giclée printing is a digital, continuous tone process. The ink droplets are as fine as a human blood cell, thereby offering unparalleled image resolution. Twelve inks instead of the traditional four are used, thereby broadening color gamut and offering greater color integrity. All canvases and papers used are acid-free to prevent age-related yellowing. The printing process is conducted by the artist, further guaranteeing quality control.
